Graduate Updates: Waste4Change, TORAJAMELO, and Others

Since 2017, Instellar has been conducting various incubation and acceleration programs and providing professional guidance by implementing the best curriculum for social entrepreneurs.

Some of the programs organized by Instellar include Rise Inc., DBS Foundation SE Bootcamp 2019, Instellar & IKEA Social Entrepreneurship Indonesia Accelerator (I-SEA), and many more. Aiming to grow the potential of social enterprises in Indonesia, these programs have spawned many social enterprises that continue to grow and create impact.

Du Anyam & Various Chocolate Becomes an IKEA Supplier
Two social enterprise graduates of the Rise Inc. program became 2 out of 11 social enterprises in the world that supply to IKEA. In order to become an IKEA supplier, Du Anyam and Aneka Coklat must meet the environmental and social requirements of IKEA (IWAY).

Koinpack Changes Name to Alner
The latest news from Koinpack! This social enterprise, which is part of I-SEA, has just rebranded to become Alner with an even better vision and mission than before. Now, Alner.id is having a #BetterReuse campaign. Let’s support their campaign!

Waste4Change Launches RPM 2.0 & Introduces Digital Waste Sorting Technology
Waste4Change, alumni of DBS Foundation SE Bootcamp 2019 and The King Sejong and Jang Yeong-sil Prize 2020 as well as an Instellar Impact Advisory client, has just launched RPM (Material Recovery House) 2.0. and also introduced a new digital-based waste sorting technology (e-waste), which is waste produced by electric vehicles such as batteries. This initiation is a result of an investment collaboration worth a total of IDR 250 billion by seven companies.

TORAJAMELO is B Corp Certified
One of the graduates of the Rise Inc. program held by Instellar, TORAJAMELO has received B Corp certification. B Corp certification itself is only given to companies with the highest standards in the social and environmental fields that implement transparency and have a responsibility in balancing profits and social goals.
