Requirements

• Operating in green climate tech or agricultural tech

• Early-stage startups with at least a prototype/product market fit

• The product should have adopted or has the potential to adopt technology (not limited to digital/ app)

• Consisted of ≥ 2 team members (not a solo founder)

• Operating in Bali and its surroundings (West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, and other areas)

What does the incubation programme consist of?

The incubation programme consists of strategic workshops, mentoring sessions and opportunity to connect with industry experts, on-site Demo Day where participants present their ideas and solutions to an audience of investors and the wider impact ecosystem community.

Where will the incubation programme be held?

The strategic workshops will be held online and offline in Bali, mentoring sessions will be held online, and Demo Day will be held in Bali.

Will transportation and accommodation expenses to attend the strategic workshops and Demo Day in Bali be covered by the programme?

The programme will only cover the transportation expense to attend Demo Day. Participants will have to arrange their own transportation and accommodation to attend the offline strategic workshops and accommodation to attend the Demo Day in Bali.

Can I apply if my startup is not located in Bali but operates in the surrounding areas?

Yes, the programme is open to startups in the surrounding areas of Bali such as West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara.

Can I apply if my startup is not located and operated in Bali and its surrounding areas?

Although the programme aims to reach startups based in Bali and its surroundings, you still may apply if you can commit to attending offline workshops and events in Bali. We have a few considerations to be reviewed to support as many green, climate, and agritech startups. Please do not hesitate to apply.

Is there any financial support offered to startups accepted into the Hatch x PEDE programme?

The programme does not offer direct financial support. However, it focuses on providing valuable resources like mentorship, workshops, and networking opportunities to help startups become viable businesses.

Will the programme be available in other cities besides Surabaya and Bali?

At the moment, the programme will be focused in Surabaya and Bali. Watch this space for any updates on other cities!
