SEHAT Impact Accelerator

Johnson & Johnson and Instellar collaborated on a 5-month acceleration program for health tech startups. The accelerator program supports purpose-driven tech-enabled enterprises in Indonesia that are using innovative business models to make quality healthcare more accessible for everyone. Six start-up companies will share a prize pool totaling US$120,000.

The SEHAT Impact Accelerator was launched in April 2021 and attracted 48 companies to register for participation. These range from companies that develop hospital management systems to companies that specialize in the recruitment of medical professionals. After an initial evaluation, 37 companies were selected for the next phase of the program. Over the next six months, the companies received comprehensive support, including workshops, tailored mentoring sessions, and customized consulting. Nine finalists were then invited to a Hot Seat Pitch, during which they had the opportunity to pitch their companies to the wider business community and compete for eventual funding.
