UPPAYA and UMKM TELAS: A place for learning and networking
The participants expressed the joy and benefits they felt by participating in the UPPAYA and UMKM TELAS programs. One of them, M. Yunus Farhat from Herboil, was happy because he got a wonderful team and got to know other MSMEs through UPPAYA.
Ulfha from Angma also expressed the same thing, who felt a significant development for herself and her business.
“After joining UPPAYA, I gained a lot of experience and learned to determine prices of goods and develop products,” said Ulfha at the event.
Rahmatul Hidayat from Sari Tebu Bang Day also feels that with UMKM TELAS, he can expand his knowledge by exchanging ideas with other MSMEs and meeting mentors who are enthusiastic in providing guidance. Finding the right business idea according to target customers is also a positive thing that participants get.
Hope for UPPAYA and TELAS MSMEs
In the future, UPPAYA and UMKM TELAS participants hope to learn more about digital marketing through social media, the use of e-commerce, and creating websites.
As public interest increases, UPPAYA and UMKM TELAS products must continue to be promoted through interesting events, such as local product exhibitions that offer several menu variants. According to Sofian from Cordova University, the most important thing about a program like this is from a marketing perspective, so that the product can be sold and consumed by the wider community.
Devina from Narasa also added that this program could open the door to collaboration between MSMEs, as was done by Plat EA with Narasa which collaborated on transportation and hampers. It is hoped that forms of collaboration like this can be established well and sustainably.
Let’s continue to support the development of MSMEs in Indonesia, including MSMEs participating in the UPPAYA and TELAS MSME programs. Check out the products made by local West Sumabawa MSMEs and show your support for them!
