Jakarta, 17 September 2025 – Standard Chartered Foundation, through its global initiative Futuremakers by Standard Chartered, in collaboration with Instellar Impact as the implementing partner and Youth Business International (YBI), officially launched the InnoFund programme in Indonesia.
The programme aims to provide financing access and tailored business support for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) as well as social enterprises, with a special focus on young entrepreneurs aged 18–35. It also prioritises women entrepreneurs, persons with disabilities, and businesses operating beyond major cities such as Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, and Makassar.

Addressing Barriers to Financing and Capacity Building
MSMEs are the backbone of Indonesia’s economy, yet they continue to face significant challenges, including limited financial literacy, inadequate training opportunities, and restricted access to financing. InnoFund is designed to bridge these gaps by offering affordable financing facilities, from IDR 50 million to IDR 160 million with interest rates ranging from 0-2%, along with customised financial literacy and capacity-building support.
Over the next three years, this programme aims to support 100 MSMEs and social enterprises, contributing to the creation of new employment opportunities and advancing inclusive economic growth.

Programme Structure and Support
Participants in the first cohort will undergo a six-month journey consisting of financial literacy training, operational capacity building, one-on-one mentoring sessions, and access to financing facilitated by partner institutions. The programme is designed to strengthen financial resilience, improve investment readiness, and support business growth for long-term sustainability.

Participant Voices
I’m truly grateful to be one of the 12 participants in the first cohort of InnoFund. The two-day bootcamp offered me countless lessons — not just from the sessions, but also from my fellow participants. What makes this programme truly unique is its emphasis on self-awareness and helping founders understand themselves first, so they can build stronger and more resilient businesses.
— Sabrina Farah Salsabilla, CEO ReservoAir
