The Gender Transformative and Responsible Agribusiness Investments in South East Asia (GRAISEA) program, led by Oxfam, works to promote more gender-inclusive and responsible agribusiness across Southeast Asia. In Indonesia, Instellar Impact served as the implementing partner for the program’s shrimp supply chain work, supporting five social enterprises to assess and strengthen their gender inclusion practices. Instellar Impact provided self-assessment tools and technical assistance to help enterprises integrate Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) into their operations, resulting in stronger gender equality policies, improved leadership capacity for women, and longer-term strategies to embed a gender lens into business growth.
Sustainability Roadmap Development
Instellar Impact supported BUMA International Group (BIG) in developing a group-wide sustainability roadmap to align its social impact efforts across multiple business units and local contexts. The engagement included assessing existing initiatives, defining strategic impact focus areas, and developing frameworks for impact measurement and priority-setting to guide more intentional planning, resource allocation, and long-term impact.
