As part of MSMEs COVID-19 Recovery Program, Instellar presents MSMEs COVID-19 Recovery Program Exhibition with the support of Give2Asia and Facebook Ireland. MALA Ecotours and Timba, two out of three selected social enterprises for the program, were invited to host a talk show related to their respective projects.
Joined by Pak Dathenus Moleda Bani from Dinas Perindustrian Kabupaten Alor, Bu Nurhayati Ali from Koperasi Kuliner Lewalu Jaya, Bu Pendeta Yumince Pinat from UMKM Kube Pubila, and Melissa Augustina from MALA Ecotours, the session on Alor’s culinary, cosmetic, and fashion products went well. Bu Nurhayati recalled the difficulty faced by her community before getting support from MALA Ecotours, from the lack of capital to distribution trouble. Seeing the condition her community was in in relation to employment, Bu Yumince’s brought us back to when she first started to get into the business world. She began by studying about business and expanding to digital marketing with the determination to lift up the community she’s a part of.
At the second session we’re joined by Mega Tala Harimukhti from School of Parenting and Awaludin Aryanto from Timba to dive into children’s golden age. The discussions on parents’ role in optimizing children’s development during the golden age and whether educational toys are needed to support children’s development were enlightening.
